“Fantastic addition to a kitchen! Point-of-use or instant-on water heaters are not well-known in the US, although recent coverage on home improvement TV has made people more aware of them. They are extremely efficient, because water is only heated when needed. You don’t burn a lot of gas or electricity keeping the water warm in a hot water tank. And, ironically, the water is immediately hot when you turn on the tap, so you don’t waste water, waiting for the hot water to actually get hot.
